Your term of service must fit into an existing Gateway term of service.

Please provide a brief but thorough (50-250 words) description of the responsibilities of your ministry proposal.

At least 50% of the total time on the field will be devoted to the engagement of the primary people group.*

I will work with my overseas contact to secure my visa. *

I will provide my travel expenses to/from the field. *

I am prepared to cover living expenses on the field if necessary. *

I have an overseas contact that agrees to my term of service and will fulfill mentor requirements.*

The Field and Spiritual Formation Mentors below meet the qualifications to serve in their respective roles, as stated here.

 

You will meet with your field mentor for five bi-weekly meetings and the 360 conference.

My field mentor is NOT a Gateway student, a Gateway professor or a family member.*

Has your field mentor been trained by Gateway Seminary?*

The TFE Office will be contacting your Field Mentor about Field Mentor Training. It will be your responsibility to ensure your field mentor completes the training before the term begins.

 

You will meet your spiritual mentor four meetings (one prior to departure, 2 during, and the 360 conference).

My spiritual mentor is NOT a Gateway student, a family member or the same person as my field mentor.*

If this is not true, you must find another person to fill this role.

Your TFE class will involve a lot of people besides you who will need to complete various assignments. You, as the first point of contact for them, will be responsible for helping them to understand their role and how to complete their assignments.

Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by the TFE Office and the Kim School. If approved, the TFE Office will communicate to the Registrar that you should be registered.*
