Professor and Director of the Kim School of Global Missions
Gateway Seminary invites applications and nominations for a full-time trustee-elected faculty position, Director of the Kim School of Global Missions and Professor of Missions, Intercultural Studies, or Evangelism.
About the Kim School of Global Missions: The David and Faith Kim School of Global Missions is the missions and intercultural ministry training arm of Gateway Seminary. The School houses two degrees, sponsors and manages two annual conferences, and coordinates national and international missions experiences for students annually.
Qualifications: A terminal degree from an accredited institution in a related field is required. The Director of the Kim School will coordinate Beyond Team student mission trips, organize annual conferences at the Ontario campus, liaison with ministry partners in the IMB, NAMB, and elsewhere, and recruit students to Gateway Seminary. The Director of the Kim School also will serve as a Professor of Missions, Intercultural Studies, or Evangelism, which includes participating in general faculty responsibilities and teaching 14 credit hours annually of graduate level courses in missions, evangelism, and/or intercultural studies. Candidates are expected to have demonstrated competence in administrative, missional, and leadership positions. Appointment requires affirmation of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and the desire to work collaboratively and collegially toward the accomplishing of the mission and vision statements of the Seminary. Gateway Seminary faculty are required to be active members of a Southern Baptist church.
Rank and Salary: Determined by credentials and experience.
