THEOLOGY in & for the CHURCH
with Kevin Vanhoozer
Register today for Gateway Seminary's upcoming Theology in & for the Church conference April 14-15. Join us to hear a series of lectures from Kevin Vanhoozer, research professor of systematic theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. This event is hosted by the Jonathan Edwards Center at Gateway Seminary.
Dr. Vanhoozer will discuss biblical, cultural, doctrinal and Christian literacy in a church context and each session will be followed by a brief Q&A. You may also join Dr. Vanhoozer for a lunch discussion Friday and Saturday, though seating is limited. Friday afternoon will feature a panel discussion on Jonathan Edwards and models of the pastor-theologian. Saturday afternoon will include a panel on the evangelist/missionary-theologian.
Gateway students can take this conference for class credit by registering for L2999-11, “Theology Conference: Theology in and for the Church.” This 1-credit course includes the conference lectures and panels, both lunch discussions, and some additional reading and writing assignments.
