The general application is accepted for most of our degree programs, including:

  • Master of Divinity (M.Div.)

  • Diploma in Intercultural Studies (Dp.I.S.)

Requirements for consideration for master’s degree programs:

  • Demonstrated participation and/or leadership in church activities for at least one year prior to application.
  • Recommendation by current church.
  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university.

Requirements for consideration for diploma programs:

  • Demonstrated participation and/or leadership in church activities for at least one year prior to application.
  • Recommendation by current church.
  • Must be 25 years old or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Application requirements:

  • Application for Admission form (online or as a download) and non-refundable $50 application fee.
  • Official transcripts from all colleges, graduate schools, and seminaries attended. Provisional transcripts will be accepted if you are still in school. (Transcripts from educational institutions outside the United States must first be evaluated by an agency such as the International Education Research Foundation. A copy of the evaluation results should be sent directly to the Admissions Office.)
  • An essay (typed and double-spaced) answering the following prompts: describe your decision and commitment to follow Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and describe the kind of ministry you feel God is leading you to pursue.
  • An original Church Endorsement form completed by the applicant's church, indicating evidence of Christian character and leadership ability.
  • An original, signed Ethical Conduct Standard form.
  • TOEFL score (not more than one year old) of at least 550 on paper-based exam or 80 iBT, for students who do not speak English as their native language or do not have a degree from an accredited institution in the United States. An exemption may be granted if the applicant has completed an acceptable degree from an accredited institution where the instruction was in English.
  • Note: Additional information may also be required by the Admissions Committee.

If you are also applying for housing at the Ontario, Calif., campus, you are encouraged to submit your admissions application before the priority housing application deadline (May 1 for fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester).
