Focus Highlights

The Bible Teaching Certificate (BTC) is a 15 credit hour program that aims to give students a deeper understanding of the content and message of the Bible, as well as training in how to best teach the Bible. It is available at all Gateway Seminary campuses and online.

Ministry Path

Sunday school teachers, lay ministry leaders, and other persons interested in advancing their knowledge of the Bible and skill in presenting it.

The BTC is specifically designed to help students become more effective teachers by providing the following:

• An introduction to the study of the Old and New Testaments—the backgrounds, content, literature, exegesis, and theology.
• Practical skills and tools to teach the Bible with power and effectiveness.

High school diploma or GED.
