Role Summary:
The Youth & Worship Pastor of The Mission Church brings energy and vision to worship and youth ministries, leading impactful worship experiences and guiding youth programs to inspire spiritual growth. This role also includes collaborating with church staff, mentoring volunteers, and fostering a creative, engaging atmosphere for the congregation and community.

The Mission Church was planted in South Jordan, UT, in 2013. We are a church deeply committed to the Bible, known for verse-by-verse expository preaching and a steadfast dedication to all of God’s Word. Valuing sound doctrine, we aim to emphasize what God prioritizes while allowing for peaceable disagreements on secondary issues. Viewing our mission as spiritual warfare, we believe the church should function more like a battleship than a cruise ship, focused on building Christ’s Kingdom rather than seeking comfort. Qualifications Summary:
The Youth & Worship Pastor must be a committed Christian who meets elder qualifications, has a supportive family, and possesses a heart for engaging with the local Mormon culture. This role requires a creative, self-motivated leader with strong skills in planning, team-building, and communication, able to inspire and mentor youth while leading worship that connects the congregation deeply to God. Close collaboration with the Senior Pastor is essential to maintain a unified vision, creating a seamless partnership that enriches both their ministry efforts and personal lives.
