Our Mission Field- What you should know about Utah…
Utah is a uniquely challenging mission field, being both the most religious yet least Christian state in the U.S., with a strong LDS influence even on non-Mormons. Christians here must adopt a pioneering spirit, viewing ministry much like an international mission field, making Utah both difficult and exciting for church growth.

Who we are:
The Mission Church was planted in South Jordan, UT, in 2013. We are a church deeply committed to the Bible, known for verse-by-verse expository preaching and a steadfast dedication to all of God’s Word. Valuing sound doctrine, we aim to emphasize what God prioritizes while allowing for peaceable disagreements on secondary issues. Viewing our
mission as spiritual warfare, we believe the church should function more like a battleship than a cruise ship, focused on building Christ’s Kingdom rather than seeking comfort. We joyfully collaborate with other churches, embracing sacrifice and resilience in the face of challenges. Driven by a commitment to excellence, we strive to eliminate distractions in worship and ministry by keeping our church organized, our services engaging, and our spaces clean and inviting.

Qualifications Summary:
The Executive Pastor must be a committed Christian who meets elder qualifications, has a supportive family, and possesses a heart for understanding the local Mormon culture. He should be an experienced, self-motivated leader with strong organizational, multitasking, and
communication skills, able to encourage, equip, and correct others effectively. Good chemistry with the Senior Pastor is crucial, ensuring a unified vision and a strong partnership that extends to both their professional and family lives.
