Job Title: Part-Time Worship Leader (Contemporary Service)

Job Type: Part-Time (5 hours/week)
Compensation: Salary negotiable, based on experience.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Worship Leader to lead the music in our contemporary worship service. The Worship Leader will plan, prepare, and lead worship music, creating a meaningful and inspiring environment for our congregation. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone who is musically gifted and has a heart for leading others in worship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead worship music for weekly contemporary service (10:15am).
- Collaborate with pastoral staff to ensure music aligns with the sermon theme.
- Select and arrange contemporary Christian music for worship.
- Lead worship team rehearsals (typically 1 weeknight + before worship), providing direction and support to musicians and vocalists.
- Encourage congregational participation and foster a welcoming worship environment.
- Manage the contemporary music team (all volunteer) as well as recruit and audition any potential new volunteers.
- Run the reports needed to comply with licensing (training provided).

Qualifications:
- Strong musical ability (vocals and/or instrument proficiency).
- Experience leading worship in a church setting (preferred)
- Familiarity with contemporary Christian worship music.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A heart for ministry and a passion for worship.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the worship team and church staff.

Hours:
- 5 hours per week (including preparation, rehearsal, and leading worship).
