Multi - Media Director

The position of Multi - Media Director is responsible for the media ministry of the church.
May supervise audio visual systems including television, and volunteer/paid staff (AV engineering, video production, broadcasting, etc.)
Tasks
• Plan, organize, and direct all activities concerning the media ministry of the church and related systems;
• Implement all policies and guidelines as stated in the Church Bylaws and SOP;
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress, cost tracking reports, and authorize payments;
• Provide leadership and oversight to the audio/video needs of the church;
• Meet with outside contractors, vendors, and or inspectors as needed to property receive bids for the ongoing development of media services;
• Enforce safety, health, and security rules;
• Interview, train, and evaluate personnel in the audio/video team ministry;
• Direct the technical aspects of Saturday/Sunday services and major event production;
• Manage requisition of supplies and equipment needed for multi-media ministries duties;
• Attend weekly staff meeting (if possible).
Qualifications and Requirements
• A college degree or equivalent;
• Ability to manage/coordinate the media department, and recruit staff for the team ministry;
• Ability to supervise others.
