Engagement Coordinator and Worship Pastor

The Director of Engagement & Worship Leader is a hybrid role that combines leadership and oversight of the Engagement Ministry with leading worship at one of LOCC's campuses approximately 2-3 times a month. This individual will recruit, equip, and develop teams to further the mission and vision of LOCC, supporting various ministries including Small Groups, Discipleship, Men, and Women’s Ministries. This position involves strategic planning, pastoral care, and operational management to foster a vibrant culture of discipleship and worship. All other duties as assigned.
Position Responsibilities: Engagement Leadership
• Lead and organize Encore Small Groups and Discipleship Ministries.
• Recruit, equip, develop, and lead ministry teams relationally and strategically.
• Oversee the Leadership Teams for your ministries and implement a leadership
pipeline for future leaders.
• Provide leadership support for Women’s and Men’s Ministries.
• Supervise staE assigned to ensure ministry eEectiveness and support.
• Plan and promote annual events for training, launching, and celebration.
• Encourage the implementation of LOCC’s discipleship strategies within assigned
ministries.
• Collaborate with staE and ministry partners for synergy in projects and initiatives.
• Develop and manage ministry budgets and spending plans.
• Communicate eEectively with team members and leaders, fostering alignment with
LOCC's vision.
• Build relationships within the church to promote participation and engagement.
Worship Leadership
• Serve as a worship leader at weekend services and special events as needed.
• Collaborate with the Worship Pastor to develop and lead worship teams and volunteers.
• Lead rehearsals and assist in maintaining the church's worship repertoire.
• Contribute to the creative direction and design of worship experiences.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing musicians and worship leaders.
• Innovate in the use of The Grove and other worship events, fostering community and
spiritual growth within the worship ministry. Essential Skills and Experience:
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience in worship leading with a pastoral presence.
• Ability to recruit, develop, and manage teams and volunteers.
• Proficiency in strategic planning and the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
• EEective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated flexibility, innovative thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Licensed minister with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience (4+ years).
• Commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative
environment.
• Experience in volunteer development and the creation of ministry roles.
• Proven ability to align ministry activities with LOCC’s mission and vision.
• Proficiency in administration and conducting eEective meetings.

• Maintain a genuine and visible relationship with Jesus Christ, displaying qualities
described in I Timothy 3.
• Regularly participate in LOCC ministries and attend weekly staE meetings.
• Uphold LOCC’s membership covenant and align with LOCC’s Articles of
Incorporation and Bylaws.
