About the Worship Pastor:
The Worship Pastor is a key leader in shaping the spiritual direction and corporate worship of Immanuel Baptist Church. This role involves developing, directing, and advancing a vibrant worship ministry that enriches the church family and reaches the community. The Worship Pastor leads Sunday services and other gatherings as needed, helping create an atmosphere that encourages genuine, Christ-centered worship.

The Worship Pastor Responsibilities Include:
- Lead worship with excellence, intentionality, and purpose.
- Meet regularly with the Lead Pastor to plan and execute Sunday worship services.
- Recruit, develop, and shepherd Spirit-led worship and production teams.
- Collaborate with the Next Gen pastors to guide and develop their existing worship teams and environments.
- Align worship ministry goals with the overall vision and mission of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Personal Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a vibrant and growing personal relationship with Jesus.
- Prioritize a healthy home life, investing in your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
- Embody and support the church staff culture by upholding key values: trust, teamwork, communication, authenticity, family focus, excellence, and competency.

Experience/Expectations:
- Preferred 5+ years of experience leading worship.
- Ability to lead worship from a primary instrument, such as guitar or keyboard.
- Proficient in worship technology, including Planning Center, ProPresenter, sound, and media.
- Experience with lighting and video is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and grow in new skills and areas of ministry.
- Passionate about worship and fostering spiritual growth within the church and community.
