Job Description:
1. Lead the praise team/choir – contemporary music and traditional hymns.
2. Coordinate all music with the overall church calendar through recruiting workers, scheduling rehearsals, and selection of music and materials.
3. Present a worship flow plan for upcoming services and work through the planning of each service with other ministerial staff.
4. Recruit and develop worship team musicians and choir members.
5. Plan all services of the church in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.
6. Work with Lead Pastor to determine annual budget needs for the music program.
7. Assist the Lead Pastor in the planning and execution of church services, ministries and events as needed.
8. Assist in pastoral care as needed.
9. Develop preaching skills by filling the pulpit several times per year or as needed and depending on giftedness.
10. Support the Lead Pastor in planning and implementing the church’s vision and ministry objectives.

Job Qualifications
Boldly profess a genuine Christian testimony and character
Must be able to express a call to ministry.
Strong commitment to personal spiritual disciplines and meet biblical qualifications for an elder/overseer (1 Tim. 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9)
Teachable and humble spirit and willing to be held accountable.
Driven, self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
Must have completed or be in the process of completing a Bible college/seminary degree.
Must have experience in leading worship services, praise teams, and choir.
Ability to read music, pick arrangements.
Strong vocalist with ability to play either guitar or keys.
