Heartland Community Baptist Church in Sioux City, Iowa, is seeking a full time Associate
Pastor to join our Lead Pastor and church leadership in the task of teaching, shepherding,
and equipping the church for the work of ministry.
Heartland Church is a growing, multicultural Southern Baptist congregation that is
committed to the command of Jesus to make disciples who make disciples. Our purpose is
to, “glorify God by obeying the Great Commandment and the Great Commission, resulting
in a great New Testament Church.” We are cultivating a culture of evangelism and
discipleship within the church body that overflows into our community, motivated by our
love of God and others.
A few of the responsibilities for this Associate Pastor position include, providing leadership
and guidance for team leaders, training, discipling, and equipping the church for ministry
work, assisting with teaching and preaching, and offering pastoral care.
Qualified candidates will possess pastoral experience and at least a bachelors degree with
a ministry emphasis.
