Position Summary:
The Director of Musical Worship & Tech has dual functions: First to create, shepherd and lead Christ-honoring corporate musical worship. Second to implement technology that facilitates our purpose of reaching people for Jesus.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
MUSICAL WORSHIP:
- Follows Jesus in a sincere and obvious way in their daily life
- Leads congregational musical worship with voice and instrument
- Provide leadership to overall musical worship ministry that is strategically aligned with Grace’s ministry philosophy and culture
- Recruits, trains, and shepherds all aspects of a volunteer-based musical worship ministry
- Build a musical excellence that is continually attracting new talent, resulting in an ever-growing worship ministry
- Contribute to the design and implementation of worship services and special events in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Works with Pastoral staff to create gatherings that are Gospel-centered and connected to the purpose of Grace
- Oversees part-time sound/lighting staff and musical ministry volunteers
- Forges connection with local universities and creates musical intern opportunities for students.
- Use Planning Center, ProPresenter, SongSelect, Ableton along with DMX lighting, digital video, and other tech to support worship service ministry.
- Create and implement new stage designs as needed.
- Lead weekly rehearsals and cultivate a Christ-centered community.

DIGITAL OUTREACH:
- Create and maintain an engaging online presence via social media
- Create and update website streaming media
- Oversee web developer to maintain a current, engaging website
- Produce video media for use in various ministries at Grace.
- Maintain and update digital equipment used in worship services, livestreaming, and meeting rooms.

GENERAL:
- Contributes to various daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetings
- Offers general ministry leadership (hospital visits, communication, etc.)
- Supports and participates in the regularly scheduled events at Grace
- Willingly assists other ministries

WHY SERVE HERE:
Grace is a Christ-centered, people-oriented church. As a non-denominational Bible-teaching church, our purpose is “to take Jesus to lost people and lost people to Jesus.” So, we focus on “names” more than “numbers”. Grace hosts two worship services in our newly built Worship Center. Our ministry DNA includes “next steps” that move Christians from Sunday-only participation to small groups that deepen their discipleship with Jesus. We’re excited about our growing ministry and looking forward to having a leader who will contribute, wherever needed, for the overall good of our church family.
