We are a small church with most congregants being over the age of 50. Our church role records 45 members, but our active attendance is generally 15-20. We would be interested in finding someone that could reach out to our community and interest the youth to draw them to our Lord Jesus.
Our town of Dove Creek is located in southwest Colorado in Dolores County and the population is around 800 in our town and 1500-1700 in our county. We have K-12 schools with a brand new elementary school located within walking distance as well as the middle/high school.
Our economy is mostly farm based. We are located near Moab Utah, Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, and Mesa Verde National Park. There are numerous opportunities for outdoor recreation such as fishing hiking, hunting, biking, etc.
