Objective:
Under the leadership of the Lead Pastor, lead the overall music and worship ministries in preparing the church’s hearts for Biblical worship by planning, promoting, coordinating, conducting, and evaluating the worship ministries of the church.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Music & Worship
● Oversee all worship and musical elements for the church.
● Provide leadership and oversight for the visual and auditory technologies (eg. lights, use of screens, sound board, etc.) and team.
● Serve as the primary worship leader for the Worship Service.
● Manage the scheduling of musicians, worship leaders, and technology volunteers for weekend services.
● Prepare worship service plans and set lists. Schedule, manage, and direct rehearsals for band, choir, and orchestra.
● Plan special worship events and services throughout the year.
● Identify, invite, mentor, and empower leaders to be a part of the Worship ministry.
● Develop worship leaders and musicians.
● Minister to and shepherd the members of the worship team.

Qualifications
● Follower of Jesus
● Ability to meet “Essential Duties and Responsibilities”
● A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in music with an emphasis in choral and orchestral performance.
● A minimum of five years’ experience directing a choir, orchestra, and worship team.
● Deep knowledge of Christian choral and orchestral repertoire and deep knowledge of scripture.
