1. Lead, organize, and administer a comprehensive music and worship ministry compatible with FBC Carlsbad’s overall mission. A comprehensive music and worship ministry will be a Christ-centered, Bible-based, Spirit-led ministry in a multi-generational congregation.
2. A comprehensive music and worship ministry will include leading congregational singing at all regular worship services of the church as well as at special events unless guest musicians have been arranged; leading, developing, and organizing various musical groups within the church, such as age-graded choirs (children, students), adult choir, senior adult choir, praise teams, praise bands, ensembles, quartets, soloists, etc.; enlisting and scheduling instrumentalists, notable musicians, choirs, audio/visual volunteers, etc. for all worship services, including special services and revivals; preparing and/or reviewing all multi-media presentations in advance of expected worship services; developing, organizing, and leading such other musical or worship or arts groups that would enhance the overall music and worship ministry of the church.
