Music Director
PURPOSE: to maintain a quality of excellence in the music ministry at FBC through musical leadership
DESCRIPTION: the music director will assist the Associate Pastor of Worship and Family Ministries in musical aspects of the worship ministry
SUPERVISION: the music director will be under the direct supervision of the Associate Pastor of Worship and Family Ministries
HOURS & SALARY: part-time ($1000 / mo) (10-12 hrs / wk)
REQUIREMENTS
1. A mature, Christ-like believer
2. A baptized member of FBC
3. Musical training and experience
OTHER EXPECTATIONS
1. Ability to lead a band

3. Organizational skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work alongside the Associate Pastor of Worship and Family Ministries to plan musical aspects of weekly Sunday services
2. Provide sheet music for the worship team
3. Lead the band in rehearsal and during Sunday services
4. Direct choir rehearsal and performances for special events
5. Work alongside the sound technician to provide excellence in sound quality during services
6. Work alongside the Associate Pastor of Worship and Family Ministries to plan special services and events involving music
