Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI) is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer for a long-term engagement. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and impactful designs that support DCPI’s mission of planting five million churches worldwide. This role involves developing graphics for a variety of media, including digital, print, and social media, ensuring all designs align with DCPI’s brand identity and messaging.

DCPI is a non-profit (501c3) organization based in Oceanside, California with partners and staff working throughout the world. We train Christian leaders on every inhabited continent of the world to plant churches in their communities, in their languages. Because we primarily focus on supporting national leaders, we have seen God bring His Church to communities we could never reach in languages we could never speak. He has given us a vision to plant FIVE MILLION churches worldwide. We currently have over 500,000 leaders trained, who have planted over a million churches worldwide! Skills Needed
- Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably within a non-profit or faith-based organization.
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills and projects.
- Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Ability to create designs for various media, including digital, print, and social media.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Passion for the mission and values of a Christian worldwide training organization.
Responsibilities
Design and Branding:
- Develop and create high-quality graphics that align with DCPI’s brand identity and messaging.
- Design digital content, including social media graphics, email templates, web graphics, and infographics.
- Create print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, and event materials.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop visual content that supports campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with DCPI’s brand guidelines and visually engaging.
- Update and maintain design templates for consistent use across the organization.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance visual communication and impact.
Technical Duties:
- Utilize design software and tools to create and edit graphics.
- Stay informed about design trends, tools, and best practices to keep DCPI’s visual content fresh and innovative.
- Provide technical support for design-related tools and platforms.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and design visually appealing graphics for various digital platforms, including social media, email campaigns, and the website.
- Produce infographics and visual content to support communication and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in daily or weekly meetings with the marketing and communications team to discuss project updates, new requests, and design feedback.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to understand project requirements, deadlines, and objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to create visual content that supports their needs and initiatives.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with DCPI’s brand identity and messaging.
- Update and maintain design templates for use across the organization to ensure uniformity in visual communication.
- Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create and edit graphics.
- Stay informed about the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to keep DCPI’s visual content innovative and fresh.
- Troubleshoot any design-related technical issues and seek solutions to ensure timely project completion.
- Proofread and edit visual content to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with project goals.
