Worship Leader – Part Time (10 hours a week)

Position Objective: To provide leadership to the worship ministry at Bridges Church

Personal Qualifications:
• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing, personal relationship with Him.
• Meets the Biblical qualifications of a leader. (1Timothy 3; Titus 1).

Ministry Qualifications:
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and shepherd volunteer musicians and technical team members.
• Dependable, responsible, self-motivated, and creative.
• Ability to lead worship
• Committed to the church body and attending quarterly events

Position Duties:
• Partner with the Pastors in the preparation of each weekly service.
• Develop and review song selection (as approved by pastor and elders), media preparation and presentation and all instrumentalists and vocalists.
• Lead the congregation in worship by skill and example.
• Lead a weekly practice session with the worship team.
• Be available for other possible church events that include worship.

Time Commitment:
• Song Selection and Communication with Pastor and Worship Team – 4 Hours
• Practice – 3 Hours
• Sunday Morning Worship (8:30am – 11:30am) - 3 Hours
• Other possible Church events that include worship
• Engage with the congregation
• Be part of a small group
• Attend other church events besides Sunday Morning Worship, specifically quarterly events
• Develop relationships with people in the body
