Laurel Ridge is a growing suburban congregation with approximately 900 people on a Sunday Morning (over 3 services). It is diverse in ethnicity and is multigenerational. Laurel Ridge is located in the greater Bay Area, about 45 minutes east of San Francisco.

Laurel Ridge and its leadership team are desiring to replant Bethel Baptist Church. That would entail restructuring and renaming Bethel Baptist Church. Bethel Baptist will function under the church governance of Laurel Ridge Church.

We are seeking a re-planter/planter/Campus Pastor for the Bethel Baptist, Concord campus, about 25 minutes from Laurel Ridge, Oakley. This Pastor will be on staff with Laurel Ridge Community Church and will work closely with the leadership team of Laurel Ridge Church. Day-to-day operations, church polity, and vision will be overseen by Laurel Ridge Community Church.

We are flexible with this position to either be the main communicator at the Concord campus or to be the Campus Host of the video feed that comes from the main campus, Laurel Ridge Church, Oakley.

Bethel Baptist Church of Concord, a suburban congregation with approximately 35-40 people on a Sunday Morning, has been adopted by Laurel Ridge Community Church of Oakley, CA. The congregation is made up of mainly older persons, with 10-12 younger adults. The Concord campus has an auditorium that seats between 160-180 people. It has several classrooms, a nice fellowship hall and kitchen. The facilities overall are in decent shape. The church is without debt. It is on a major artery in Concord.

We have met with Bethel Baptist to help them understand the process of a replant/new plant and they have overwhelmingly and enthusiastically agreed to give the leadership and direction to Laurel Ridge Community Church.

The Concord Campus Pastor would be responsible for the overall leadership of the campus. Providing spiritual leadership, developing staff, and caring for the congregation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills, and a heart for nurturing and developing individuals within the church community. The position would be full-time. The compensation would be determined based on experience and qualifications.

The Concord Campus Pastor will lead every aspect of the campus, steering it towards living out LRCC’s mission of Seek God, Build Community, and Unleash Compassion.
