Bethel Baptist Church of Bourbonnais, IL is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Senior Pastor. We are a congregation-led church 50 miles south of Chicago.
REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will have a heart for people and a love for God. He will exhibit skills in Preaching & Teaching, Prayer & Bible Study, and Pastoral Care.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Senior Pastor will work within the established leadership structure to lead the church in carrying out its mission to proclaim the gospel and grow the Kingdom.
QUALIFICATIONS: A committed Christian who brings enthusiasm, integrity, and discernment to his ministry; upholds the doctrinal statements of the Baptist Faith & Message 2000; and is a team player who works with staff and volunteer leaders. A pastor with 5 years’ experience and some Southern Baptist Seminary training is preferred.
