House Parents Job Search
Adirondack Bible Chapel is seeking houseparents for an active residential discipleship ministry serving struggling Christians. The ministry focuses on biblical counseling and sound teaching of God’s Word.
Our ministry brings in adults who need help for a season with their Christian walk.
The ideal couple would love the local church, God’s word, biblical counseling, and hospitality. They must also have godly character and have lived above reproach as faithful Christians.

Our Church
Adirondack Bible Chapel is Christ-centered and gospel-focused. We believe that God’s Word is sufficient for all of life, and prayer shows our dependence on a sovereign God. Discipleship is a crucial aspect of our ministry. Our goal is for everyone to grow in the knowledge of God and become more like Christ. We are nestled in Upstate New York. We are a small tourist town with many outdoor activities. Our town is known for being an all-season vacation land. There are many lakes for water activities and mountains to hike, ski, and snowmobile in the winter. There are slow times of the year. Ministry Center
Adirondack Bible Chapel’s Ministry Center is a residential discipleship facility that specializes in helping Christians grow, heal, recover, and be encouraged through biblical-based, Christ-centered discipleship and mentoring. Residency is for those who desire to be around Christians in an environment that promotes accountability and spiritual growth, focusing on building a solid foundation in Christ.
The property is 250 acres with a 16-bedroom Lodge, three apartments, a gymnasium, a barn, a private lake, and forest trails. https://adirondackbiblechapel.org/ministry-center/
Position
The Houseparents position is for a married couple who work together as a team to manage residents' daily care and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Lodge and buildings. They work under the authority of the Executive Director (senior Pastor) and work closely alongside the Discipleship Director and Women’s Supervisor. The managing couple lives on the property. Salary: $33,000-$36,000. Housing is provided.

General maintenance, lawn care, and construction skills helpful
Clear communication, writing, and organizational skills
Basic computer skills and administrative skills
Basic meal planning and food ordering
Love for people, patience, longsuffering
Ability to do conflict management
A desire to be a part of a hospitality ministry
