This position serves as the face of the Seminary. Our Lobby Attendant is sometimes the first and only person with whom our guests meet. The primary role is to greet, welcome, and direct visitors appropriately, and notify Seminary personnel of visitor arrival. Additional functions include maintaining security, providing information, and supporting other administrative functions.

Gateway Seminary is a confessional institution owned by the Southern Baptist Convention. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials, technical procedures, instructional manuals, or governmental regulations. Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to regularly talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach, push, and pull with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
