About the Children's Ministry Director:
The Children's Ministry Director is a dedicated Christian leader responsible for providing overall leadership, direction, and management for the children's ministries at FCBCLA. This role requires a strong commitment to the church's mission and vision, as well as a passion for nurturing the spiritual growth of children and their families.

The Children's Ministry Director Responsibilities Include:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for the children's ministries that aligns with the overall mission and vision of FCBCLA.
Create a healthy and supportive ministry environment for volunteers, parents, and children.
Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the children's ministries.
Ministry Development:
Identify, recruit, train, and supervise qualified ministry leaders and volunteers.
Develop and implement effective programming for children of all ages, including Sunday School, children's worship, VBS, camps, outreach, and special events.
Partner with parents to support the spiritual development of their children.
Oversee the creation and management of a budget that aligns with the ministry's goals.
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by implementing and enforcing appropriate policies and procedures.
Team Leadership:
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Children's Ministry team.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture.
Encourage and develop leadership potential within the team.
Community Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
Represent the children's ministries at church events and community gatherings.
Spiritual Growth:
Actively participate in the spiritual life of the church, including worship, prayer, and small group ministry.
Model a strong Christian faith and commitment to serving others.

What You Bring:
Master's Degree: Master's degree in education, early childhood education, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of full-time experience working with children in a church, school, or equivalent setting.
At least two years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a children's ministry or educational program.
Demonstrated experience working effectively with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Skills:
Strong organizational and management skills, including experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Proven ability to teach and facilitate learning experiences for children of various ages.
Proficiency in written and verbal English.
Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a significant advantage.
